Class 1 · Explosives
Exploding bomb
e.g. Fireworks, ammunition, detonators
Forbidden in passenger baggage.
Class 2 · Gases
Gas cylinder
e.g. Oxygen, propane, aerosols
2.1 flammable = red · 2.3 toxic = white.
Class 3 · Flammable liquids
Flame
e.g. Petrol, alcohol, paint, thinner
Class 4 · Flammable solids
Flame (red & white stripes)
e.g. Matches, sulfur, sodium
4.3 gives off flammable gas when wet.
Class 5 · Oxidizers
Flame over a circle
e.g. Pool chlorine, peroxide, nitrates
Makes other fires burn stronger.
Class 6 · Toxic & infectious
Skull & crossbones / biohazard
e.g. Pesticides, arsenic, lab samples
Class 7 · Radioactive
Trefoil (yellow top / white)
