  1. Gain deep AVSEC experience

    Work across screening, security operations and supervision so you understand how the rules apply in practice.

  2. Master the regulatory standards

    Know the BCAS requirements and ICAO Annex 17 standards well enough to judge compliance confidently.

  3. Train in audit and quality control

    Develop auditing, testing and quality-management skills, formally where required for the role.

  4. Move into a compliance/audit role

    Take an AVSEC quality-control, inspection or audit position with an oversight body, airline, airport or consultancy.
