Content & Review Standards

Effective July 2026

The AVSEC Awareness Course is built to be accurate, current and honest. These are the standards we hold our content to.

Authorship & review

Course material is authored by aviation-security practitioners and reviewed by our lead faculty, Ms. Rubab Nizami, before publication. Where a topic maps to a regulation or standard, we state the source in plain terms.

Sourcing & alignment

Content is aligned to the ICAO Annex 17 framework and the BCAS regulatory context that governs civil-aviation security in India. We reference the regulators (BCAS, CISF, DGCA) accurately and by role.

Accuracy & updates

Aviation-security rules change; we review and update the course as they do. Every learner's access includes the updates published during their 90-day window.

Assessment

Knowledge is assessed by a 50-question final exam graded server-side. The Certificate of Completion is issued only on a genuine pass (70/100) and carries a verifiable certificate number you can check online.

Honesty

We do not publish fabricated ratings, statistics or endorsements, and we never overstate what the certificate is.

This is a Certificate of Completion issued by Wings Institute (BCAS-context, ICAO Annex 17-aligned). It is not a certificate issued by BCAS or any government authority.
