Privacy Policy

Wings Institute (“we”) is the data fiduciary for the AVSEC course. This notice explains what we collect, why, and your rights under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect & why

  • Account & billing: name, email, phone, city and state — to create your account, deliver the course, and issue your invoice and certificate.
  • Payment metadata: order and payment references from Razorpay. We do not store your card or UPI credentials.
  • Learning progress: your module and exam progress — to run the course and issue your certificate.

Consent & purpose limitation

We collect this data with your consent, for the purposes above. We do not use your enrolment data for unrelated marketing without separate consent.

Your rights

  • Access, correct or update your data.
  • Request erasure, subject to records we must retain by law.
  • Withdraw consent and raise a grievance (below).

Processors

Razorpay (payments) and our hosting and email providers process data on our behalf under contract.

Retention

We keep your data only as long as needed for these purposes, except invoice and tax records, which we retain for 8 years as required by Indian tax law.

Children

The course is intended for users aged 18 and above. A minor may enrol only with a parent or guardian's consent, and we do not run targeted advertising to identified children.
