Can I Carry a Ammunition on a Flight in India?

In short
You cannot carry a ammunition in cabin baggage on Indian flights. Securely packed sporting ammunition, up to 5kg gross mass per person, may be carried in checked baggage only, in the manufacturer's box, declared at check-in with a licence and airline approval. It is never allowed in the cabin, and it cannot be combined with another passenger's allowance.
