Can I Carry a Pepper spray on a Flight in India?

In short
You cannot carry a pepper spray in cabin baggage on Indian flights. Self-defence sprays — pepper/OC spray, mace and tear-gas canisters — are prohibited on Indian flights in cabin baggage, checked baggage and on the person. They are incapacitating devices and will be confiscated at screening.
