Can I Carry a Protein powder on a Flight in India?
Last updated: 7 Jul 2026Reviewed by Ms. Rubab Nizami, Lead AVSEC Faculty
In short
You can carry a protein powder in cabin baggage within limits. Protein and other food powders are allowed, but a container larger than about 350ml/350g may be sent for extra screening or asked to go in checked baggage. Keep it in the original labelled tub and declare it at the checkpoint; some international destinations screen large powders strictly.
