Can I Carry a Breast milk on a Flight in India?
Last updated: 7 Jul 2026Reviewed by Ms. Rubab Nizami, Lead AVSEC Faculty
In short
You can carry a breast milk in cabin baggage. Breast milk is exempt from the 100ml limit when travelling with an infant — carry it in cabin baggage in reasonable quantities for the journey, and declare it separately at screening, where it may be tested. (Travelling without the infant present is not clearly documented under Indian rules and screeners may not grant the exemption, so check with the airline/airport first.) Ice or gel packs to keep it cool are permitted along with it.
