Can I Carry a Strong magnets on a Flight in India?

In short
You can carry a strong magnets in cabin baggage within limits. Strongly magnetised material can deflect aircraft compasses and instruments, so it is restricted as Class 9. Everyday electronics with small magnets are fine. Large industrial or loose magnets must be packed to shield the field and may need airline approval before they can travel.
