Can I Carry a Peanut butter on a Flight in India?

In short
You can carry a peanut butter in cabin baggage within limits. Peanut butter is a spreadable paste, so security treats it as a gel: in cabin baggage the jar must be 100ml or less in the clear bag. Larger jars go in checked baggage, sealed in a leak-proof bag.
