Can I Carry a Dry coconut / copra on a Flight in India?
Last updated: 6 Jul 2026Reviewed by Ms. Rubab Nizami, Lead AVSEC Faculty
In short
You cannot carry a dry coconut / copra in cabin baggage on Indian flights. Dry coconut and copra are restricted because they are combustible, and many Indian airlines forbid them or limit them in checked baggage. Fresh whole coconuts and coconut oil over 100ml are also limited. Check your airline before carrying coconut products.
