Can I Carry a Power bank on a Flight in India?

In short
You can carry a power bank in cabin baggage within limits. Power banks are lithium batteries (Class 9). They must travel in cabin baggage only — never in checked baggage — because a fire in the hold cannot be reached. Since 2025, several Indian airlines also bar using or charging them in flight and require them kept in the seat pocket, not the overhead bin.
