Can I Carry a Spare lithium battery on a Flight in India?

In short
You can carry a spare lithium battery in cabin baggage. Spare (loose) lithium batteries must travel in cabin baggage only, never checked. Protect the terminals against short-circuit. Up to 100Wh is fine; 100–160Wh needs airline approval; above 160Wh is forbidden for passengers.
