Can I Carry a Hoverboard / electric scooter on a Flight in India?

In short
You cannot carry a hoverboard / electric scooter in cabin baggage on Indian flights. Hoverboards, self-balancing boards, electric scooters and electric skateboards carry large lithium batteries, usually well over 160Wh, and are banned by Indian airlines in both cabin and checked baggage. There is no approval route for passengers to carry them.
